Beautify Communities

Keep Franklin County Beautiful works hard to leave our community greener and more beautiful through various efforts.

  • We strive to give away free native species at major events. This helps inspire community members to support native species over non-native…or worse… INVASIVE.

  • Parks, businesses, or restoration. We strive to provide plantings that beautify spaces, and provide support for our wildlife and resources.

  • Projects that focus on restoring areas can be completed. See the benches we replaced at Holy Family!

Our Projects

MLK Mural

An MLK mural was created on MLK Jr. Boulevard in Apalachicola, and mulch was put down to add a fresh new look.

Native Plant Landscaping

As part of the MLK Corridor grant, we were able to plant various native species and add a pollinator garden to Holy Family.

Benches & Litter receptacles

Bench replacements and litter receptacles were added at Holy Family
